How much were you paid to write this nonsense ?
Vultr is closing your account after a few days, once they stole your data if you use the free $250 credits
Can't believe you're gobbling Vultr's D this much
I have been using Vultr VPS for 1 year, 2 running VPS, 1 VPS with Vultr, and 1 VPS with DedicatedCore. They both provide VPS, which is cheaper than other providers. I like that they never charge for any hidden cost. Now I don't have any issues with their service.
If you rely on Vultr to run your business, you'll go out of business. Their service go down all the time and it sometimes takes them weeks to fix a problem esp. their object storage. There seems to be no urgency from their support whatsoever. There is no way to escalate a problem.
They simply think they can shut down their VPS if you use too much load, disable your account without saying why, it's a real crap company. My advice is to avoid Vultr, your anti-ddos sucks and the data center can't handle excessive loads. Or, when you create your account, they will close without telling you why.
I host a network appliance there 24/7. I've noticed between midnight and 3 AM I've had packet loss so severe that it has caused my network device to disconnect. They moved me to a new node that was supposed to be "quieter", but I continue to see these middle of the night outages 2-3 times per month. I think it's the result of a shared service and someone on my same cluster running large backups or transfers. So maybe it's the nature of the service. Can't beat the price though. A mine is a network appliance and the 1TB transfer limit is what brought me here from Azure because Azure was charging me for anything over 15GB.
We got throttled after a week of usage on their biggest instance. Here was there message:
Greetings,
"We have set resource limits on the VPS subscription at xxx.x.x.xx due to multiple occasions of high resource utilization that were impacting the performance for other customers on the same host node. If you need to make extensive use of the host CPU, disk, and/or network resources, please consider using our dedicated (VDC) or bare metal products. These alternatives would avoid affecting the performance of other customer's activities.
You may petition to have these limits removed by maintaining consistently lower utilization for one week and then replying to this ticket.
Thank you for understanding."
We received no notification and this caused material downtime
After 2 years i can say that I'm very satisfied.
No problems for me. Saved money with them and also upgraded the quality of service.
I'm using there Paris Infrastructure.
I just wish they will add another Server in Southern Europe.
The platform is stupid simple to use.
Uptime and Response times as it should.
I think it is a value for money option.
Vultr has very bad support and services. They can stop you vps any time.
Their vps runs very slow
Support given by vultr in not any more good I would say it is worst
never expected from vultr that it is providing such a bad service
hope they will do in future as mentioned on their website
