N.nu is a Swedish website builder that has created more than 20,000 active websites. It offers a basic tool to build your own website from scratch.
The N.nu website is very basic. The website itself and the website builder interface are available in English, Spanish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
You can view prices in US dollars, Norwegian krone, or Swedish krona, depending on the language you choose.
Features and Ease of Use
Subscribing to N.nu just takes a couple of minutes. After that you’re asked to choose a template for your website from 270+ ready-made template choices.
All the templates are mobile-friendly. In other words, N.nu has responsive themes that automatically adjust your website’s layout to appear perfectly on any device, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Unfortunately, N.nu is not a drag-and-drop builder, so the editing process can sometimes be frustrating. Plus, it’ll be more difficult to create a more advanced looking website design.
Even though you can easily upload images and embed videos, you won’t be able to add blocks to further organize your website. The templates also aren’t very flexible when it comes to adjusting your layout.
On the upside, the editor has social media integration and you can embed widgets from other websites.
N.nu’s features also include unlimited storage and traffic, full control of HTML and CSS, newsletters, blog, statistics, and more.
Pricing and Support
N.nu only has one premium plan that you can test for free for the first 30 days (free trial). Once the trial period is over and you make a payment, you have a 14-day money-back guarantee period.
The free-trial comes with the exact same features and specifications as the premium plan. However, if the trial period ends and you don’t subscribe, the website you created will automatically be deleted.
To my disappointment, they restrict access to the FAQ section until you create a free account. Once you have an account, you can access it through the website editor. On the bright side, there is a support forum that has several helpful articles.
Contacting customer support is only possible through email. From within the editor, you can fill in a contact form. I sent an email with a few basic questions just to try it out, but after 24 hours I didn’t receive a reply.
