Other than being a website builder, the Danish tool Bricksite also offers domain registration and email solutions to go with your website.
The Bricksite website is quite limited and is only available in Danish. The dashboard is available in both English and Danish, and the editor is available in more than 20 languages. All of Bricksite’s prices are displayed in Danish krone.
Features and Ease of Use
Bricksite’s website building capabilities are relatively limited. It’s not a drag-and-drop builder. Instead, it’s a point-and-edit builder.
With Bricksite you get to choose from 50+ website designs to meet your style. All designs are customizable and can be adjusted to better suit your needs.
The dashboard itself looks simple, but it’s actually more difficult than it looks to navigate. It took me some time just to figure out how to change the language of the dashboard and the editor.
On the upside, it does have more than a million free images from which you can use for your website.
The highest plan comes with a free SSL certificate, premium support, integrated emails, and an included custom domain.
Bricksite is a WYSIWYG website builder, meaning that you can edit and view your website in real-time.
Even though Bricksite has limited HTML integration, it doesn’t have CSS integration. It does, however, have social media and site analytics integration.
In addition, Bricksite is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly. Through keywords and other mechanisms, you can help your website improve its position on search engines, such as Google.
Pricing and Support
Bricksite offers three different price plans: Free, Mail, and Premium. The Premium plan is the one that comes with all the features and tools with no limits. The Mail plan is for the purpose of integrating your emails within your websites.
The Free plan is not a trial, meaning it doesn’t have a duration limit. All the paid plans are backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Even though Bricksite’s website is limited, it does have a comprehensive Knowledgebase combining more than 100 articles and tutorials, that cover different important topics. It also has a blog and an FAQ section.
You can reach out to Bricksite’s customer support through email or live chat. Keep in mind that their support is available during working hours, from Monday to Friday (9 AM – 10 PM) and on weekends (10 AM – 6 PM). Luckily, I contacted the live chat during those hours, and the agent promptly addressed all my questions. Very reliable support, indeed.
