Founded in 1996, Webair is a provider of enterprise cloud services that include virtual private cloud, dedicated private cloud, bare metal servers, hybrid cloud, Microsoft Azure managed services, disaster recovery services, managed security, CDN, and server colocation services.
Based in Garden City, New York, this provider has four Tier 3 data centers in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, and Amsterdam. Its website is in English.
Features and Ease of Use
Webair’s managed Enterprise Virtual Private Cloud allows businesses to develop, deploy, manage, and scale websites or applications without the need to invest in hardware. This infrastructure-as-a-service (Iaas) provides management of the infrastructure, security, backup, recovery, and scaling. For increased security, performance, and scalability, Webair offers Dedicated Private Cloud managed hosting.
Both the Enterprise Virtual Private Cloud and Dedicated Private Cloud services are compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Payment Card Industry (PCI).
All managed hosting customers benefit from:
- SLA-backed 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Managed security
- Managed backups
- Email monitoring
- Cloud storage
- CDN
- Database as a service (DBaaS)
Available add-on services include Managed Security (with managed firewalls and DDoS attack mitigation) and Managed Backups.
Pricing and Support
As is typical of managed service-providing cloud computing companies, Webair doesn’t publish any pricing information, so you’ll have to contact the sales team to get a quote. I did find some pricing information on a third party website, which claimed to be accurate as of 2019. So you might be able to search for the same information yourself, but bear in mind that only Webair can tell you the correct prices.
You should get SSD storage, ample bandwidth, and, of course, the “managed” aspect of the managed services for the price you pay. Plus, you can expect 24/7/365 customer support.
You can contact the company via telephone, email, contact form, or live chat. I tried the contact form and received a reply the following day:
