VPSfinland is a web hosting provider based in Finland. The hosting company is a brand of Multim Ltd and was established in 2007 with an aim to provide quality hosting solutions to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers across Finland. Its offerings are VPS servers and dedicated server solutions.
Features and Ease of Use
VPSfinland virtual server solutions come with the following standard features:
- High-performance and eco-friendly server
- Remote management (IPMI)
- Full root access
- Reverse DNS
- IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
VPSfinland VPS and dedicated servers are hosted in a data center located in Finland. The data center is built in a safe and secure location inside an underground tunnel and is managed and operated by Ficolo Ltd.
Moreover, the data center is equipped with high-end hosting infrastructure, high-performance and eco-friendly servers, and redundant power input (UPS and diesel generators) as well as multiple internet connections. This all but guarantees high availability and improved performance.
When you choose VPSfinland, you get a choice of OS selection, including Linux (Ubuntu, CentoOS, Debian) and Windows (Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 R2) operating systems. That said, the hosting solutions lack significant features such as SSL certificates and backup options.
If its VPS does not meet your website security standards and performance, then you can opt for the dedicated server plans that come with RAID technology. There are only two dedicated plans offered by VPSfinland: Dedicated 1 and Dedicated 2. However, at the time of writing, these solutions were out of stock.
The VPSfinland website seems outdated and it hasn’t been updated for a while. Its copyright footer reads 2015 – 2017, an indication that the vendor might be out of business.
Pricing and Support
VPSfinland offers pretty affordable virtual server plans, but they come with very standard hosting features. However, they do have flexible monthly billing cycles, and the prices are listed in euros.
VPSfinland shies away from committing to an uptime guarantee. Moreover, the vendor does not seem to offer a refund policy or a free trial period for its hosting plans.
You can contact the VPSfinland customer support team only via email or through a contact form. Unfortunately, this vendor does not have telephone support, a live chat, or ticketing system. I sent them an email, but it remained unanswered.
VPSfinland has yet to put up a knowledge base, as well.
