Greece-based Trustservers was founded in 2007 by the Antithesis Group, since when it has offered shared hosting, application hosting (WordPress, Magento, and CS-Cart), VPS hosting, dedicated servers, and domain registration.
Trustservers’ attractive Greek-language website contains less information than I would like to see.
Features and Ease of Use
The four shared hosting plans — Basic, Dynamic, Business, and Advanced — differ in disk space and a few other things. They have the following features in common:
- SSD storage
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Spam filter
- Free SSL certificate
- Daily backups
- SSH access
- Cron jobs
- DirectAdmin control panel
Although I personally prefer the popular cPanel, the provided DirectAdmin control panel still allows you to manage your website files, domains, email accounts, FTP accounts, databases, backup intervals, and more. You can access the control panel remotely (and securely) thanks to SSH access.
Cron jobs allow you to schedule scripts to run periodically without having to execute them manually every time. The CloudLinux platform isolates your hosting account from the adverse effects of other hosted users, to ensure the stability of your site.
Pricing and Support
Trustservers’ hosting solutions are affordable compared with the European market, and you get a 30-day money-back guarantee when you first subscribe. Dedicated servers don’t come at fixed prices; they are customizable according to your needs.
Since there were too few tutorials in the knowledge base to address all my pre-sales questions, I decided to reach out to the company through one of the available methods: telephone, support ticket, or email. I was delighted to receive an email within 24 hours, addressing half of my questions, and shortly after, they sent a follow-up email to answer the remaining inquiries.
