Features and Ease of Use
TESAEgroup provides four shared hosting packages, which come, as standard, with the following core features:
- Up to 20 add-on domains
- Domain registration available
- Up to 100GB monthly traffic
- Up to 10GB disk space
- Unlimited email accounts
- Unlimited databases
It’s clear that TESAEgroup is comprised of industry experts. As well as hosting, it’s developed a series of online and local software tools such as CRM, booking software, and web ERP.
Regardless, the hosting plans are presumed to be quite basic. Granted, you can select between a Linux or Windows operating system and the resource allocations are generous.
Other than that, it’s not clear from the website what expert level or advanced level features are included. I tried to contact support but I did not get any confirmation, so, unfortunately, I can only tell you the information available on the website, which, as I’ve already noted, is limited.
I can tell you that your data will be housed in Greece, which is beneficial if your customer base is located there, and you can choose between a CloudLinux or Plesk control panel, but I can’t tell you what your expected uptime will be.
Pricing and Support
The prices are high, especially when considering the low level of features displayed on the website. Without confirmation from support on extra features, I can’t advise if the prices are high or good value for money.
As far as I can tell from the website, SSL certificates and domain names are always an added cost, and you need to pay an additional 24% for VAT upon checkout. Finally, you can only pay for plans on an annual basis, so all-in-all, the terms are strict.
Customer service is by phone, fax, or email from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. There are lots of downloadable manuals, but because hosting is one of many software services sold by TESAEgroup, it’s not immediately clear which will be relevant to hosting customers.
In my experience, the customer service team has provided poor support. I emailed them around lunchtime on a Tuesday to seek confirmation on some of the omitted features, but I never received a reply despite waiting for several business days.
