Stablepoint Review 2025 – Is It Worth It?

Solomon Ndung'u Written by: Solomon Ndung'u

Stablepoint was established relatively recently in 2019 by founders who have done it a few times before. So, you should be in safe hands with this London host that offers multiple worldwide hosting locations.

Stablepoint’s founders also founded other global hosting brands, SpeedyDot, tsoHOST, and Vidahost (now part of tsoHOST). In 2019, they set out to create a new web hosting company to provide scalable cloud hosting solutions that do not compromise on quality.

The new host, Stablepoint, is headquartered in the United Kingdom but has staff located all around the world. Besides cloud hosting services, it also offers reseller hosting, server solutions, WordPress hosting, and domain name registration services, and sometimes provides infrastructure to other web hosting companies. In 2022, both Hostica and Limenex merged with Stablepoint after having relied upon its hosting and support services for over a year.

Features and Ease of Use

Stablepoint’s cloud-based web hosting solutions come with these features as standard:

  • WHM/cPanel control panel
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Unlimited monthly bandwidth
  • Support for WordPress and other software
  • Unlimited email accounts
  • Free website migration
  • Free domain name registration

Stablepoint has partnered with some of the leading cloud providers — including Digital Ocean, Amazon, and Google — to provide customers with the best hosting experience at 80+ locations in Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Oceania. All server locations are PCI-compliant, and the servers use super-fast SSD storage.

If you know how to, you can create a database-backed website using the PHP and MySQL combination. And you can be sure your data is safe, thanks to the twice-daily remote backups that allow you to roll back in the event of a data disaster.

Security features include Anycast DNS, Imunify360, custom firewalls, free Cloudflare CDN, and live kernel updates.

Pricing and Support

Stablepoint offers hosting plans with higher pricing, but it might be a case of receiving commensurate value for your investment. The pricing is in British pounds; however, during checkout, you have the option to switch to U.S. dollars or euros. You will benefit from an exceptionally generous 60-day money-back guarantee, which is twice the refund window provided by many other hosts.

Although the 99.9% uptime guarantee is merely average for the industry, it pays out a month’s worth of free hosting if this level isn’t met.

Stablepoint’s help center is available 24/7/365 to help customers with hosting issues. You can make contact via dedicated U.K. and U.S. telephone numbers, a ticket system, email, or live chat. I’m pleased to say that my test ticket submission was answered within an hour:

Stablepoint REVIEW: BOTTOM LINE

Although Stablepoint is a very recent entrant to the hosting market, its founders have done it all before (a few times). You get a choice of hosting locations, so you can choose one that is closest to your target customers or other website visitors.

Pros

  • 80+ hosting locations
  • Twice-daily backups
  • SLA-backed 99.9% uptime
  • Generous 60-day money-back guarantee

Cons

  • High prices
  • Website could be overwhelming for some prospective customers

For hosting from founders who have done it all before, see Stablepoint.

FAQ

What’s the difference between shared hosting and cloud hosting?

With shared hosting, you share resources on a server with other customers, and if one of those customers’ sites gets busy, it can cause slowdowns for everyone on that shared server. With cloud hosting, you may still share resources, but on a network of servers, and more resources can be allocated to your site when required to meet surges in traffic.

Stablepoint’s basic web hosting service is cloud-based, so it’s a little pricier than shared hosting. But it does offer the first month of hosting for $1.

If Stablepoint’s renewal fees are too high for you, you might find a better cloud hosting deal on our coupons page.

Is Stablepoint’s unlimited hosting really unlimited?

Stablepoint offers unlimited bandwidth and email accounts with all of its personal web hosting plans, but there is always a limit on the number of websites you can host. Its Business hosting plans all offer limited (though generous) amounts of dedicated resources, but will accommodate unlimited numbers of websites.

Which Stablepoint plan is best?

If you’re looking for personal (“shared”) web hosting, Stablepoint’s Medium plan provides the best value. It’s a bit more than twice the price of the Starter plan, but it gives you up to six websites, double the SSD storage (200GB), and double the RAM (2GB).

Which is a better value, Stablepoint or Hostinger?

While Stablepoint gives you managed, cloud-based web hosting with solid performance and generous resources, it can’t match the combination of performance, features, and price of Hostinger. Hostinger offers better value1 when you compare the two head-to-head, and it’s number one on our list of the top 10 web hosts for 2024.

Did Stablepoint acquire Hostica and Limenex?

According to Stablepoint, it had been running both the hosting and the support service for both Hostica and Limenex for over a year when these providers merged with Stablepoint in 2022.

Excellent and very fast

Affordable prices, excellent and very fast when you require support. the best hosting provider without a doubt. We recently moved away and joined Stablepoint after this review and many reviews across the internet and are glad to have made the switch.

Great value, excellent support

A great mix of cloud performance and traditional WHM/cPanel hosting, with excellent support. The prices for reseller hosting on Digital Ocean are fantastic. These were the guys who made Tsohost a success before GoDaddy trashed it, so I trust them. The support team are fantastic - they never just do the bare minimum.

Scaling without high end costs 👌🏼

I’ve moved 47 websites so far, i as in Nicky from Stablepoint. No if’s not but’s.. everything as is from a old competitor who let us down. Stablepoint is a company i highly speak about and recommend, support is available 24 hours of the day and on a slack channel so compared to other hosts what a breath of fresh air. A no brainer just sign up
