Savvy IT Solutions is a web hosting company in the Czech Republic that provides website design, domain name registration, shared hosting, VPS hosting, server housing, managed, and unmanaged dedicated servers services.
Its data center is located in the Czech Republic and its website is available in Czech only.
Features and Ease of Use
Savvy IT Solutions has six shared hosting plans, four of which run on Linux operating system and two of which run on Windows. The features on them include:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Daily automatic backups
- Free SSL certificates
- From 500MB to 20GB disk space
- Unlimited bandwidth
It supports MySQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases. There is also the PHPMyAdmin tool and Adminer, which are web interfaces for working with MySQL.
For programming, Savvy IT Solutions supports ASP, ASP.NET, and different versions of PHP programming languages with a fantastic PHP memory limit.
Savvy IT Solutions’ servers are optimized to handle different open source applications like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, VirtueMart, PhpBB, and PrestaShop. However, there’s no auto-installer.
It has cron jobs, which is used in scheduling tasks on the server. You can set it to perform certain tasks like sending emails and running scans at different intervals when you’re not available to do it yourself
One nice feature of this plan is the Free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate. Many website owners prefer to use the services of a hosting provider who offers free SSL that’s easy to renew. Let’s Encrypt needs to be renewed every three months and having it out of the box helps with that. Also, a website that has a visible security sign will attract visitors and rank better.
Other security features it provides are antivirus protection and spam filtering to guard against malware, spyware, and unsolicited emails. Its servers run on SSD and RAID technology.
Pricing and Support
Savvy IT Solutions has affordable shared hosting plans that are worth the features on each of them. Only the Optimal shared plan can be purchased directly on the website and you can choose to pay for a year or two years. To order any of the other shared plans, you’ll have to contact customer support.
At the point of purchase, you’ll have to choose the PHP version and database type you need. You can make payments through bank transfer, PayU online payment, or credit cards.
There is no free domain registration or money-back guarantee, nor is there a free trial or free version.
Support is available by phone, email, FAQ with tutorials, and remote support via TeamViewer. These support channels are in the Czech language.
I sent an email to its customer support agents and I got a response in less than three hours.
