RockHoster went live in 2014 with the noble cause of ensuring that websites were available to anyone who had access to the internet. Five years later, it had developed into a fully-fledged hosting company with a range of shared hosting, Linux and VPS hosting, reseller hosting, TeamSpeak 3 hosting, and dedicated hosting plans.
Features and Ease of Use
RockHoster provides users with the necessary tools to create an online presence: the cPanel control panel (to manage all aspects of your hosting), the Softaculous installer (with scripts for 350+ popular programs), and these features:
- Unlimited web hosting space
- Unlimited monthly bandwidth
- Unlimited dedicated IP addresses
- PHP version selector
- Free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates
- phpMyAdmin access
- Unlimited MySQL databases
- Unlimited email accounts
Of the two web hosting plans — Bronze and Gold, I don’t know what happened to Silver — the Bronze plan provides 30 GB SSD storage whereas the Golden plan includes unlimited SSD storage.
You also get the Cloudflare CDN (to improve page loading speeds and protect against some kinds of cyberattacks) plus DDoS protection, and you can create and download snapshot backups with a few simple steps.
RockHoster uses high-speed network connections, and its hosting infrastructure sits in multiple worldwide locations, in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.
Pricing and Support
Our hosting company offers low-priced hosting plans, allowing you to pay for them in Indian rupees or U.S. dollars on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, biennial, or triennial basis.
On the downside, the 99.9% uptime guarantee is only average for the industry, and you only get 24 hours to change your mind.
You can contact the support desk 24/7/365 via live chat, email, ticket, or telephone (office hours only). Unfortunately, my exploratory email went unanswered. If you have to resort to self-support, you will find an adequately (but not extensively) populated knowledge base:
