QOXY hosting solutions are powered by a top-tier data center located in Singapore. The vendor makes every effort to keep its servers up to date and running on state-of-the-art hardware. This hosting firm fully owns its hardware infrastructure and operates its own network of infrastructure and servers.
The servers are top-of-the-line Dell and Supermicro servers and feature Intel Quad-Core Xeon processors with 16GB ECC RAM/Memory or more, and 15,000 RPM Enterprise SAS Drives. They run on CentOS 6.X or Windows Server 2008 OS platforms.
QOXY also runs a custom version of CloudLinux on its web servers. It chose CloudLinux because of its ability to optimize server performance and uptime so that it can consistently deliver on its promise of 99% network uptime every month without fail.
QOXY performs daily and weekly backups of website data for its basic web hosting, business web hosting, reseller hosting, and VPS (Linux) hosting clients. These backups are for disaster recovery purposes and can be used in case of software or hardware failure. If needed, users can request these backups at a fee, which will be calculated per incident.
Pricing and Support
QOXY hosting prices are pretty standard with billing cycles starting at every three months for shared web hosting and monthly for VPS hosting. Other cycles include biannual, annual, biennial, and triennial. The prices are listed in Singaporean dollars, and packages include free instant setup and free website migration.
In some sections of the website, QOXY says that it offers a 14-day money-back guarantee while in others, the vendor says that it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. The vendor does not explain this apparent contradiction. The hosting firm also offers a 99% uptime guarantee, significantly lower than the industry standard offering of 99.99%.
To contact this vendor, you can send an email or open a ticket. The vendor claims that its decision not to provide telephone and live chat support is so that it can reduce costs and increase efficiency. Unfortunately, I sent them a query via email but never received a reply.
The QOXY website has a fairly detailed knowledge base.
