Estonian I.T. services company Pro IT has been in the hosting market for ten years. This Tallinn-based company has experience of serving a wide variety of clients “from hotels to universities” (according to its website) with large customer I.T. systems and Wi-Fi networks. Its website supports the Estonian language.
Features and Ease of Use
Pro IT’s website mentions a basic cloud server package that comes with:
- OS installation
- 1 x vCPU
- 2 GB memory
- 50 GB HDD
- A highly available VMWare cluster
- 24/7 monitoring
This plan lets you choose your operating system as Linux (CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, and Fedora) or Windows (2012, 2012 R2, 2008 R2, 2008 32-bit, or 2008 64-bit). You can also select SAS or SSD RAID 6 storage that uses redundancy to protect you from potential disk data disasters.
You can select several features at extra cost, such as local or remote backups, additional SSD/SAS/SATA storage, additional memory, a VPN connection, server maintenance, and antivirus software.
In addition to cloud hosting, Pro IT also provides Microsoft Exchange business email solutions, offering spam and malware protection, along with inbox transfers to the cloud.
Pricing and Support
Pro IT’s single cloud server plan is expensive, and the costs increase as you add extras. You can pay using euros, but I can’t tell you what payment methods are available.
Contact this company’s customer support team via telephone, email, or live chat, or take advantage of remote support via TeamViewer. But beware that my offline live chat messages were ignored. Self-support resources seem to be limited to a regularly-updated blog.
