MeraHost offers a good range of hosting services including shared hosting, dedicated hosting, and offshore hosting. Their shared hosting plans come with the following core features:

MeraHost make some big claims about the quality of their service. They advertise a 99.95% uptime guarantee for their own Tier III and Tier IV data centers, which means less than 26 minutes of downtime per year. They also claim to be the fastest hosting provider in India, with a network latency of 30 milliseconds. They use solid state drives for storage, which means disk read/write speeds up to ten times faster than regular hard disk drives.
This vendor offers four feature-packed SSD web hosting plans called Budget, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Apart from the Budget plan (which comes with 5GB disk space and 10GB bandwidth), all plans enjoy unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. The number of domains, subdomains, parked domains, MySQL databases, and FTP accounts increases with package size. All plans come with a free SSL certificate, weekly off-site backups, and free data migration.
As well as offering excellent resource quotas and impressive performance statistics, MeraHost also has an array of features designed for beginners or new website owners. All plans come with the Softaculous one-click installer, a website building tool, and Attracta SEO tools. Whilst they also offer FTP access, MySQL databases, and support for various versions of PHP, they don’t support advanced coding languages such as Ruby on Rails, Java, and Python.
Their shared hosting plans offer robust features, but they also provide options for WordPress managed hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private servers, and offshore hosting.
Pricing and Support
If one domain is sufficient, and you require less than 5GB disk space and 10GB bandwidth, then the very affordable Budget plan might be right for you. It’s good value for money with excellent features.
If you require multiple domains or unlimited resources, you’ll need to upgrade to the Silver, Gold or Platinum plans, which can get quite pricey but still offer good value for money.
Only annual plans are offered, but MeraHost goes some way toward countering the commitment risk by providing a 30-day money-back guarantee. They also offer a variety of coupon codes allowing you (for example) to save 10% on any order or 50% off your first month. Domain registrations and SSL certificates are included in all plans, but backups cost extra.
24/7/365 customer service can be accessed by live chat, email, telephone or ticket. There is no knowledge base on the website, but there is a client zone which requires you to log in and which may well hide additional resources. Whilst I am impressed by their level of customer service, I have been left waiting for a long time on live chat with no response.
