Features and Ease of Use
LineaHosting offers two categories of shared hosting; The Personal Hosting and The Pro Hosting. As its name implies, the Pro hosting plans have higher resources than Personal hosting. Regardless, both will work for small to medium-sized businesses. These are the features offered on them:

If you take any of the Pro plans, you get free remote backups with JetBackup. On the Personal plans, you’ll have to pay for this feature. Another plus of the Pro plans is more dedicated RAM per customer.
LineaHosting provides a number of security features, including antivirus and spam detection for emails. It also provides brute force attack detection, which is great, because practically every password-based system out there can be hacked with brute force.
The company also provides a DDoS protection base that can handle small to medium scale DDoS attacks of up to 2Gbit or 5Gbit per second, depending on the server location.
LineaHosting provides the CloudLinux operating system to shared hosting customers, which creates a lightweight virtualized area for each customer ensuring that they all enjoy their resources without interference and limited spread of malware.
You can install WordPress and a host of other web applications with Softaculous through your cPanel. If you’re on any of the Pro plans, you get access to the SitePad website builder to design your website with a visual editor and no need to write HTML.
Alternatively, you can write your own HTML and program your website with PHP. The company supports that and Perl, but not Python.
One other feature that’s worth mentioning is Gzip compression. It can make a big difference in website load time and can solve one of the issues that Google Pagespeed can pick up on websites. Unfortunately for Personal hosting customers, this is only provided to Pro customers.
Pricing and Support
LineaHosting offers affordable web hosting prices. The subscription period for the Personal hosting plans is one year only but Pro hosting offers from one-month hosting duration.
However, the free domain offer is only provided to Personal hosting customers. The free SSL certificates are provided on both hosting categories.
You can pay with bank transfer or PayPal using the funds in your wallet or your credit card. LineaHosting provides a 30-day money-back guarantee. Also, the company has an SLA backing up its uptime, where you can get a refund around 20% to 100% of hosting costs based on the downtime you experience.
You can reach customer support through ticket and live chat. They’ve also got phone and email options, but those are for sales only, not support. LineaHosting has a knowledge base too, with guides for its customers.
