KhbraHost (which roughly translates from Arabic into English as “NewsHost”) provides hosting services primarily to clients in its native Egypt and the Middle East. According to its Facebook page, KhbraHost was established in 2011, and to date, it has registered 600+ domains and delivered 230+ websites for 1,700+ customers.
KhbraHost’s Arabic website sells hosting, domain services, and web design/development assistance. Its servers sit in Germany, and they’re monitored by a team of technicians in the U.S.A.
Features and Ease of Use
KhbraHost offers four limited shared hosting plans (with the lowest “Lite” plan being only for static websites), four unlimited shared hosting plans, four reseller hosting plans, and four Windows VPS plans.
The limited shared hosting plans provide you with:
- cPanel control panel
- 300 MB to 1,500 MB SSD disk space
- 6 GB to 20 GB monthly transfer
- Up to two FTP accounts
- Up to five databases
- Up to five subdomains
- Up to ten email addresses
- Weekly backups (with daily available by request)
Hosted websites sit on super-fast SSD storage, and you also get virus protection.
You can establish your website using the one-click installer, which supports over 95 additional applications for content management and various other purposes. Alternatively, you have the option to utilize KhbraHost’s web design and development services for setting up your website.
Pricing and Support
KhbraHost’s limited shared hosting plans start dirt-cheap and go on to become competitively priced. You can pay in Egyptian pounds via Western Union, Vodafone Cash, or CIB Bank on monthly to annual billing cycles (but not all cycles apply to all plans). You can try an unlimited cPanel hosting account free for 14 days, then cancel your account or upgrade to a paid plan.
Although you should be able to contact this company by telephone, ticket, or live chat (via Facebook Messenger), I have to tell you that my test support ticket went unanswered. Self-support resources are similarly disappointing since the knowledge base contains only one entry:
