Internet Brasil is a web hosting company that operates under its parent company Internet Brazil Group. Founded in 1997, the hosting company is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and it targets small and medium-sized businesses mainly in the Brazilian market. Its offerings include shared web hosting, colocation services, virtual server solutions, email solutions, email marketing, and domain name registration services. The Internet Brasil website is only available in Portuguese.
Features and Ease of Use
Internet Brasil web hosting packages incorporate the following standard features:
- Unlimited MySQL databases
- Snapshot backups
- Next-generation data center
- Load balancing on links
- Configurable AntiSpam system
- Webmail access via browser
Internet Brasil hosting plans are powered by a next-generation data center with gigabit network infrastructure. The data center is equipped with cloud computing architecture that helps reduce power consumption as well as heat emission in the data centers. Cloud computing provides an isolated hosting environment for each client, ensuring they get the flexibility they require to scale their businesses effectively.
Moreover, the vendor uses VMware in its cloud computing solutions, thus providing high-performance server virtualization. This also ensures data security of the allocated resources for each customer. Other features that come with the vendor’s virtual servers include a snapshot backups system to help safeguard its client’s website data as well as a customer isolated management system.
Internet Brasil hosting packages come with a standard control panel that lets users manage, edit, and configure email accounts and databases as well as domain names. Nonetheless, the company’s website looks somewhat disorganized. It has a very poor website design and looks like it needs a makeover.
Pricing and Support
Given that this vendor has overvalued its hosting plans, the limited hosting resources they offer may not seem justified. However, the hosting packages come with flexible monthly billing cycles, and the prices are listed in Brazilian real.
Internet Brasil offers a 99.9% uptime guarantee but the SLA is only exclusive to virtual server solutions. Other packages don’t seem to offer any uptime guarantee. Moreover, I did not find details of a money-back guarantee or any refund policy.
Support is provided 24/7 via telephone or email. Its online service via live chat is available from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. Unfortunately, the vendor has not made a ticketing system available for use.
The Internet Brasil website has some FAQs but the vendor does not have a knowledge base.
