Iberica Solutions has more than 10 years’ experience in the hosting industry. They see themselves as a partner to their mainly-SME customers who want to expand their businesses with an online presence. With offices and facilities in Madrid, this 100% Spanish company proudly serves its local customers in their own language.
Features and Ease of Use
Iberica Solutions provides most of the features that customers want:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Automatic daily backups
- Some multi-site hosting packages
- Purchasable single-domain SSL certificates from GeoTrust and Comodo SSL
- Mostly unlimited plans, except for the Linux personal plan
- 2 GB to 50 GB storage limits for web hosting, 60 GB to 500 GB for cloud VPS products, and SATA/SSD options for dedicated servers. RAID 0/1/5/10 options are also available.
Although not the most feature-rich hosting provider, Iberica Solutions’ hosting plans still come with everything you need for an effective hosting experience. They offer both Linux and Windows options with webmail that includes spam filtering, IMAP, and blacklisting/filtering tools. You also get MySQL for databases, as well as Microsoft SQL Server options on Windows plans.
Their Cloud VPS packages, which can be deployed within just a few minutes, come with a cPanel control panel and RAID redundancy. It’s a similar situation with the Dedicated Servers that make use of cutting-edge Intel Xeon E3 processors and multiple storage configurations with SSD options. For both Cloud VPS and Dedicated Servers, they offer a massive 5 TB and 10 TB of bandwidth respectively.
Iberica Solutions offers special hosting options that include Exchange Hosting for business collaboration and Radio Online hosting for streaming radio. However, they do not provide CMS-specific hosting for less experienced customers.
Pricing and Support
There are three Linux plans and three Windows plans. The Linux Personal, Company and Multidomain plans can be bought on monthly or annual terms. The Windows Starter Pack, Premium Pack, and Enterprise Pack options can be purchased on monthly, annual and biennial terms. The prices are pretty much on par with what I would expect, and even the lowest Windows plan (but not the lowest Linux plan) comes with unlimited data transfer.
You can also choose from four Cloud VPS configurations, including MiniCloud options for smaller budgets and lesser requirements. The four Dedicated Server packages all come with unlimited traffic, and you get a free cPanel license with these plans. Although not the best, you do get good resources with these plans, and you can also configure custom dedicated server packages by contacting the company.
Unfortunately, you have to purchase SSL certificates and domains separately.
You can contact this company via telephone, email, live chat, and an online contact form, but for support incidents, they advise you to access their client area. They also have links to Facebook and Twitter social network pages, but it doesn’t look like they’re very active.
Support services are offered in Spanish and the local Castilian dialect. They don’t guarantee 24/7 support, and – in fact – you might have to wait until the next day if you submit a support request too late in the day. There is also no knowledge base, but there is a handy blog with some helpful articles.
