In terms of value added features, all hosting plans come with instant backup so there will always be an automatic backup of your website. What’s less clear is whether these backups can be accessed by clients for free. GHS offers an “advanced control panel,” but it is not entirely clear whether this is actually the popular cPanel or something home-grown.
All plans come with DDoS protection, support for PHP, unlimited FTP accounts and MySQL databases. The website advertises a 99.99% uptime guarantee, but beware that there is no corresponding SLA.
Pricing and Support
The prices are low, which is only fair for the limited features and the non-SLA uptime guarantee. With such low prices, it’s also fair that domain registration and SSL certificates both cost extra. Plans can be bought on one, two, or three-year terms, and the price remains the same regardless of the length of commitment.
You can contact them for 24/7 support through phone, email, WhatsApp, Facebook, and live chat. However, I’ve consistently experienced difficulties with their live chat as they are never online, and I end up having to “leave a message.” It’s also worth noting that the website links to their video tutorials, ticket system, blog, and support portal are non-functional, making it challenging to find self-support resources.
