German newcomer Explosive Hosting was founded by 20-year-old Florian Teuber and 18-year-old Christian Gorke in 2017. While seemingly specializing in TeamSpeak voice servers, this provider also offers domains and SSD-based web hosting.
Explosive Hosting’s well-designed German-language website includes a little less information than I would like to see about its hosting solution.
Features and Ease of Use
There are three simple shared hosting packages: the 1 GB plan, the 5 GB plan, and the 10 GB plan. Unsurprisingly, the main difference between the packages is the amount of storage.
Explosive Hosting offers nothing new when it comes to shared hosting, but it does provide a few perks such as:
- Free SSL certificates
- DDoS protection
- Plesk control panel
- PHP 5 & PHP 7 support
- Installable WordPress
- SSD storage
- 99.9% network uptime
Using the user-friendly interface of the Plesk control panel, you have complete control over all aspects of your hosted website. The integrated one-click app installer, like your website’s own app store, allows you to easily install essential CMS and other applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, PrestaShop, Magento, and many others.
Pricing and Support
On average, prices are competitive and affordable, and you can pay using PayPal, Paysafecard, or a credit card. Available billing periods are monthly, quarterly, and semi-annually, and you get 14 days to change your mind when you first sign up.
Explosive Hosting’s live chat channel was offline for more than a week leading up to this review. I also received no responses to my email and ticket contact attempts. I suggest you do your own due diligence and try to contact this company before you sign up for one of its packages.
For self-support, the knowledge base is not much use since it contains only nine articles:
