Slovenian company Dolher was set up in 2007 (according to its LinkedIn page) by award-winning computer specialist, Ziga Dolher. Since starting its journey, it has provided a comprehensive range of computer solutions that includes web hosting.
Dolher’s website supports the Slovenian language.
Features and Ease of Use
Dolher offers three shared hosting packages (Unlimited, Unlimited+, and Unlimited Premium) and three VPS packages. The shared hosting packages provide you with:
- 99.8% uptime
- 1 GB to 5 GB storage space
- Unlimited bandwidth
- 10 to 50 domains
- 10 to 50 FTP users
- 10 to 50 MySQL databases
- 100 to 500 email boxes with webmail
- Access logs and error logs
- Weekly backups
Secure FTP lets you transfer files securely, and a free SSL certificate will give your visitors confidence as well as potentially boosting your search engine standing. Remote Archiving lets you back up your most critical data on secure servers.
Pricing and Support
Dolher’s shared hosting prices are a little higher than average, and according to the product pages you can buy them on an annual basis. Other billing cycles may be available, but you have to register your details before proceeding to the payment step. This also means I can’t be sure about the accepted currencies (apart from euros) or the payment methods.
While this provider alludes to 99.9% uptime on its home page, its product pages specify a lower 99.8% uptime. Either way, the uptime is at or below the industry average.
You should be able to contact the customer support team via telephone or online contact form, but I found that my contact form submission resulted in an error.
I was unable to find any self-support resources, but I can tell you that remote support is available via TeamViewer.
