Features & Ease of Use
DialWebHosting offers both Linux and Windows-based shared hosting services. Every account comes with the industry-standard cPanel, which allows you to easily manage all your websites from one place. You get access to detailed statistics about your websites’ performance, which helps in improving the impact of your webpages and getting better returns. All of their shared hosting plans come with unlimited storage, bandwidth, and support – the main variation is in the number of connected domains allowed, the support channels available, and the provision of their website migration service.
DialWebHosting’s robust infrastructure includes redundant servers and modern data centers, so rest assured that you have access to the best technology available when you choose them. Moreover, advanced email hosting solutions are included free in their web hosting packages.
If you want to set up an online shop, DialWebHosting has specialized e-commerce hosting packages available. These packages provide scalable infrastructure, enabling you to upgrade whenever you expect more traffic. Plus, you can count on a team of experienced e-commerce professionals who are always there to assist you when needed.
DialWebHosting’s e-commerce plans support multiple platforms, such as ZenCart, CubeCart, and osCommerce. You can get a private SSL certificate for your website, or procure a dedicated IP address if you’re willing to pay a little extra. Automatic daily backups ensure that your e-store can be easily restored if things ever go wrong – this was a nice perk, since not every hosting provider provides this for free.
Other notable features include
- Comprehensive OS templates
- Unlimited POP3 Email accounts
- SpamAssassin
- Detailed statistics on your website’s performance
Pricing & Support
The packages for both Linux and Windows hosting are divided into three different categories named Home, Basic, and Value plan. The prices for all packages are really attractive. Plus, you get a discount if you pay for two or three years up front.
They have a pretty good live chat support system where a real human will address your query immediately, even if you aren’t a customer yet. I posed them a few quick semi-technical questions, which were responded to promptly and knowledgeably. I was a little bit irritated with their chat, though: after I ended the chat, I was then transferred to another department, where someone else started another chat. It felt rather poorly designed, with little continuity. However, it did confirm that their live chat agents were immediately reachable.
Other ways of contacting them include a toll-free number and a ticket support system. They will even call you back if you provide them with your telephone number through their “Get A Call Back” form.
