According to its Facebook page, CoMaSys was founded in 2006, but the two forerunner companies that merged to form it had been around for some time before. This Danish company developed many of its own products, and it is dedicated to providing customers with web hosting, VPS, SSL certificates, security (such as antivirus and firewall), Wi-Fi, and much more besides.
The CoMaSys website supports the Danish language.
Features and Ease of Use
The hosting services offered by CoMaSys’s include shared web hosting and virtual servers. According to its website, it provides only one pre-configured shared hosting package with some configurable options (such as storage space, traffic, and email addresses). This shared hosting package also provide you with:
- 1 GB to 20 GB storage space
- 10 GB to 200 GB traffic
- Unlimited domains and websites
- Unlimited MySQL databases
- Unlimited FTP accounts
- 5 to 100 email accounts and unlimited aliases
- DNS hosting
CoMaSys claims to host fewer customers on each server, so you should benefit from better performance and a fairer sharing of resources. The remote backups mean your data should be safe if anything adverse happens to the server on which you’re hosted.
They’ve got some more specialized options like Hosted CRM and Hosted Exchange.
Pricing and Support
The shared hosting is very pricey, with the minimum plan priced at more than four times the industry average. Although monthly prices are presented in Danish krone (DKK), you can’t purchase plans online, so I can’t tell you anything else about the available billing cycles or payment methods. I can tell you that you have the statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of your order date.
