As its name implies, Bulletproof WordPress Hosting (BPWPH) provides web hosting services that are fully optimized for WordPress. These services include shared hosting, cloud servers, dedicated servers, and E-commerce hosting.
It is a subsidiary of another company called Green Olive Tree Incorporated and it serves clients around the world. BPWPH’s website is available in English.
Features and Ease of Use
Bulletproof WordPress Hosting offers shared plans (for WordPress) with the following features:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Daily automatic backups
- From 10GB to 40GB disk space
- Unlimited bandwidth
It offers an unlimited number of domain aliases, email accounts, and email forwards. You can host up to 10 websites on its highest plan, and it offers up to 30 Percona databases. The Percona server is a drop-in alternative for MySQL. It is suitable for large databases that require quick performance.
BPWPH uses LiteSpeed webserver, which is several times faster than Apache and Nginx. With LiteSpeed, customers enjoy improved performance, even for busy websites with thousands of visitors monthly. In addition, it uses Solid State drives(SSD) disks. SSDs give a better input/output performance for the heavy data needs of most WordPress websites.
Despite its services being tailored to WordPress websites, BPWPH provides cPanel to customers. That way, you aren’t only restricted to the WordPress dashboard but can also manage things from the backend of the hosting account. cPanel has an easy to navigate interface from which you can access website files and manage your WordPress account.
BPWPH updates your website and plugins daily. It offers spam protection, daily malware scans, and malware cleanups. Plus, its SSDs are in RAID 1 for effective data redundancy.
Aside from its shared plan, BPWPH also offers cloud servers and dedicated servers on the WordPress platform. It offers an E-commerce plan as well, which integrates the turnkey E-commerce enabled shopping cart into your WordPress account.
Pricing and Support
As with most host providers offering WordPress hosting, its plans are more expensive than both regular shared hosting plans and WordPress plans from its competitors. However, it offers a trial on its two smallest plan for a small fee. This is applicable to first-time customers.
The company offers monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles. Clients have the option to make payments using credit cards and PayPal.
This hosting provider doesn’t offer a money-back guarantee, likely because of the high discount on the two base plans. However, this means a high risk for all customers, including those that aren’t on those plans.
Its customer support channels include phone and email address. I contacted BPWPH through email but never got a reply.
