Beam Servers was founded in 2012 to offer shared hosting, reseller hosting, virtual private servers, and dedicated server solutions. Its website is in English, and its servers are located in the Netherlands and France.
Features and Ease of Use
Beam Servers offers a range of hosting services that come with these features:
- 99.9% uptime guarantee
- Daily automatic backups
- Domain registration available
- Up to unlimited add-on domains
- Up to 50 GB disk space
- Up to 10 TB bandwidth per month
Hosting plans come with free website migration and free daily automatic backups, both of which could cost extra with other hosting companies.
Shared hosting plans are managed via the popular cPanel control panel, and VPS packages can be provided with either Linux or Windows operating systems. The Linux plans use CloudLinux so that you’re isolated from the effects of other hosted users.
Beam Servers has carefully considered its infrastructure. The Netherlands- and France-based servers use Intel Xeon processors and RAID 10 hard drives (to protect you against any potential disk data disasters). Although the website advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee, the compensation situation isn’t clear.
Pricing and Support
Beam Servers’ prices are in line with international competitors. I’ve seen some cheaper hosting providers, but they don’t always have RAID 10 infrastructure and the Softaculous installer. At the time of writing, there are some promotions (such as a 15% discount) for VPS plans.
Unfortunately, Beam Servers’ knowledge base is empty. To contact this company, you can send an email to the sales, support, or billing departments. Alternatively, you can submit a ticket, or try the live chat channel (like I did).
