AzeroCloud ApS was established in the year 2000. It offers various kinds of hosting and associated services, including web hosting, virtual servers, physical servers, domain services, and hosted Exchange. With its experienced team, Azero strives to offer simple, secure online services. It follows the ISO/IEC information security standard for optimal information security.
Azero’s website is in Danish.
Features and Ease of Use
Azero’s bouquet of hosting services includes two Linux or Windows shared hosting packages, two Unix or Windows dedicated servers, and one Unix or Windows VPS (which lets you scale up your resources as your business grows). The shared hosting packages provide you with:
- 1 GB to 25 GB storage
- Free traffic
- MySQL database
- PHP, Perl, and CGI
- FTP access
- Unlimited email addresses
- Webmail
- Antivirus and antispam protection
- Daily backup
AWStats generates easy-to-read statistics that give you a good understanding of your website traffic, visitor information, file transfer statistics, and more. Cron jobs are allowed so that you can schedule scripts to be run regularly rather than having to execute them manually every time.
If you want a hosted CMS (such as WordPress) or an e-commerce webshop (such as osCommerce), there are plans for those specific purposes.
Depending on the plan level you pick, you will enjoy from 99.9% uptime (Bronze) to 99.99% uptime (Platinum).
Pricing and Support
Azero’s shared hosting packages are pricey (at around three times the industry average). You can pay for them in Danish krone on billing cycles from quarterly to triennial by bank transfer, Girocard, or PBS.
You can reach Azero’s customer support team via telephone, live chat (requires registration), or contact form. Unfortunately, my contact form submission went unanswered. On the bright side, the support page has plenty of information that might help you find answers to your pre-sales or subsequent support questions on your own.
