According to its Facebook page, Spanish host AtresHost was founded in December 2018. It has servers throughout the U.S.A., Canada, the U.K., and India, and its Spanish- and English-language website sells shared hosting, reseller hosting, virtual servers, and dedicated servers. You can also get domain registration and transfer, SSL certificates, SiteLock security, and WHMCS licenses.
Features and Ease of Use
AtresHost offers three Linux shared hosting plans, nine reseller hosting plans, eight VPS plans (in HDD and SSD variants), and four dedicated servers. The three shared hosting plans provide you with:
- 99% availability guarantee
- One to unlimited hosted websites
- cPanel control panel
- 50 GB to unlimited SSD web space
- Unlimited web transfer
- Five to unlimited MySQL databases
- PHP version selector (from 5.6 to 7.3)
- Free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate
- JetBackup backups on Amazon S3 servers
There are two ways to create your website; using the SitePad website builder, or using the Softaculous installer to install 500+ content management or other apps (such as WordPress).
The Intel Xeon processors, SSD storage, and the LiteSpeed web server with LSCache will ensure excellent performance for your hosted website. Our security measures include firewalls and DDoS protection, while the RAID 1 configurations further enhance protection against disk data disasters.
Pricing and Support
AtresHost’s shared hosting plans are priced competitively, and regular discounts make them even cheaper. Pay for plans in euros by bank transfer or PayPal, bearing in mind that activation may be delayed when you pay by bank transfer. Billing cycles range from monthly to triennial, and the 30-day money-back guarantee should get you out of your long term commitment early if anything goes wrong. After 30 days, you’ll receive a pro-rata refund for any remaining time.
The highest (Deluxe) plan includes a free domain for at least a year.
You should be able to contact this company’s 24/7 support team by ticket, email, live chat, WhatsApp, or discussion forum. Unfortunately, my support ticket submission went unanswered, which could be because I’m merely a pre-sales prospect customer. Self-support is similarly disappointing because the knowledge base contains only four entries.
