Founded in 2014, Maryland-based AET Solutions offers a range of IT services including shared, cloud, VPS, and managed hosting as well as web development, application development, and IT hardware services.
This vendor has two websites:
- A corporate site that provides a brief overview of the company’s hosting solutions.
- A separate AET Hosting Solutions website – reviewed here – that apparently says nothing about its hosting solutions until you click the “Order Hosting” icon to find the various hosting options described in some detail within the shopping cart pages.

Features and Ease of Use
AET Solutions offers a variety of non-managed and managed-hosting plans plus other IT services. Its four shared Linux hosting plans – Standard, Webmaster, Professional, and E-Commerce – use SSD storage for faster website loading. These hosting plans include the following features as standard:
- Free domain
- 24/7 technical support
- 99.9 % uptime
- SSD storage
- PHP
- CMS
- cPanel control panel
As a hosting customer, you have access to powerful tools such as WordPress, Drupal, phpBB, and the OsCommerce e-commerce shopping cart. You can also secure your site with an SSL certificate from RapidSSL, GeoTrust, or Symantec, and the order page allows you to choose between the different types of certificate: Domain Validation (DV), Organizational Validation (OV), or Extended Validation (EV).
AET Solutions partners with Weebly to provide four Website Builder hosting packages: Starter, Pro, Business, and Performance. The Starter plan lacks some of the features of the other plans, such as no website search function, no support for HD video or audio, and a limit of just 10 products checked out via Weebly’s website rather than your own domain. The remaining four Webbly plans have no such limitations.
Pricing and Support
AET Solutions’ web hosting plans start affordably, with the entry-level shared Linux plan costing the same as a kid’s fast food meal per month. That’s less than the average for the top American hosting providers but similar to other hosts we’ve reviewed. The other plans increase in price, and they provide options for adding SpamExperts email security, SSL, Weebly website builder, SiteLock security, and CodeGuard website backups. You can buy hosting on monthly or yearly billing cycles, with the yearly subscriptions discounted by about 15%.
The Weebly website builder plans have similar pricing to all-in-one companies like Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify. You can choose from monthly to triennial billing cycles for these hosting plans, with discounts of 5% for biannual billing and 15% for an annual commitment.
AET Solutions offers ticket-based technical support. My test ticket remained unanswered for a week (and counting) which is somewhat worrying. On the bright side, you should be able to support yourself quite successfully thanks to the comprehensive knowledge base:
