Wix Partners With Meta to Streamline Customer Communication
Wix recently announced a partnership with Meta, which will enable users to read and respond to messages from Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger directly from their Wix Inbox.
Previously, users could manage messages from different channels including email, Wix Chat, Wix Forms, and SMS, but also needed to integrate multiple chat widgets for channels not integrated with Wix’s customer relationship management (CRM). With the Meta integration, users can now access all Meta-owned communication channels in one place.
Users can also initiate conversations with live site visitors, create automatic responses, suggest products, offer coupons, and send payment links through Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger directly from their Wix Dashboard.
“Integrating these top messaging platforms to the Wix Inbox will streamline communication and help business owners be more efficient,” Ronny Elkayam, Senior Vice President of Mobile, App Market, and Strategic Products at Wix, said in a statement, noting that the partnership saves time on communication management, “builds trust and will ultimately grow customer loyalty and retention.”
Wix’s partnership with Meta is not only about communication management. Users can also create personalized ads, manage their ad campaigns with the help of Wix AI, and measure Meta campaign performance from their Wix account. These features are available for users with a connected domain, a premium Wix plan, and a Facebook Business Page.
Wix has solidified its position among the best website builders with its continuous focus on innovation. The company shared that its CRM team is actively working on incorporating more channels into Wix Inbox and expanding the tool’s capabilities. The ultimate goal is to enable third parties to integrate with Wix Inbox so users can manage their entire communication with customers from one location.
In February of this year, Wix launched an AI text creator within the Wix Editor and refreshed its SEO Dashboard with integrated Google Search Console reports and personalized advice. The company was among the first in the industry to embrace AI advancements. In 2016, Wix launched Wix ADI, the first-ever AI technology that combines web design and content creation to speed up the website-building process.
