Wix Releases Pantone Color of the Year 2025 Web Capsule

Wix Studio and Pantone released a web design asset collection themed around the Pantone Color of the Year 2025, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse. The capsule collection featuring the warm brown hue is the first of its kind and is exclusively available to Wix Studio customers for a limited time.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, describes Mocha Mousse as “an earthy and refined brown hue whose welcoming warmth brings harmony and balance to the demands of modern life. [It] exudes a quiet sophistication yet is an unpretentious classic.”

Wix Studio is Wix’s web design platform, designed for users developing websites for clients or at scale, like agencies and enterprises. The collaboration with Pantone, the global color authority in the design community and beyond, offers web designers “instant access to trends that will shape 2025.”

The capsule collection features Mocha Mousse-themed ready-to-use digital assets, but Wix emphasized web designers will have complete creative freedom to customize them. The assets include images, videos (3D transparent videos, video boxes, masks, and text marquee), shapes, vector art, pre-designed sections, and containers.

In addition to the digital assets, Wix curated three color palettes featuring hues that complement Pantone’s 2025 winner color. The first palette, Subtle Contrasts, includes muted tones of beige, brown, and blue. The Uniquely Balanced palette features a louder color combination of coral, purple, blue, and mustard tones. Finally, Floral Pathways includes flower-inspired shades like Cornflower Blue, Viola, Willow, and Rose Tan.

Additionally, Wix prepared six responsive Mocha Mousse-inspired templates for Art, Travel, Beauty, Fashion, and Restaurant websites. These templates are fully customizable and usable across various industries.

“Our collaboration with Pantone further solidifies our commitment to empowering web creators and designers to be the first to craft high-end sites that capture 2025 design trends,” Wix emphasized in a press release.

The SaaS company continues to innovate its platform by introducing new products and advancements. Most notably, this year, Wix launched Wix AI, which enables users to create entire websites with simple prompts.
