Wix Is the First Gemini for Workspace Google Partner
SaaS website builder Wix is expanding its partnership with Google to offer users access to Gemini for Workspace. As the first reseller of Gemini for Workspace, Wix will enable users to utilize advanced Gemini-powered generative AI solutions across Google Workspace. Gemini for Google Workspace with Wix is available only in English and for US-based users.
Gemini for Workspace is an AI assistant designed to boost creativity and efficiency and streamline workflows. It can assist users with writing documents and emails, summarizing emails, creating slideshows, and organizing projects, among other tasks. The technology integrates within Google’s suite of Workspace apps, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Meet.

Today, with our new agreement and the launch of Gemini for Workspace, they’ve become the first partner to offer Gemini, offering the best generative AI solution in the market that can orchestrate across the apps and turbocharge their customer’s productivity,” said Yuval Dvir, Senior Director of Online Channels and Partnerships at Google
He emphasized that Gemini for Workspace is especially beneficial for “growing businesses looking to get more out of less resources.”
Wix’s VP, Chairman of Premium and Payments, Itay Shmool, said the partnership with Google will enable its users “to achieve new levels of productivity and creativity.”
The Gemini for Google Workspace partnership extends the companies’ decade-long collaboration. So far, Wix has integrated many Google online tools into its website builder, including Google Maps, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense.
The partnership comes right after Google launched a more powerful Gemini 1.5 Flash model, boasting a quadrupled context window, resource links to combat hallucinations, and other advancements.
Wix is also big on innovating with AI, with its most recent AI release including tools for blog creation. These tools joined its existing comprehensive AI toolkit, including an AI website builder that can create entire websites from conversational-style prompts.
