Wix AI Website Builder Offers More Languages
Wix has expanded its AI website builder to allow users worldwide to create websites using prompts in languages other than English.
Wix launched the current iteration of its AI website builder in March (it has offered AI-powered website creation for years). The tool allows users to create entire websites using a chatbot. Users provide details such as their website’s intent and goals, while the Wix chatbot asks follow-up questions based on previous responses.
Once it has all the details, the AI website builder will provide a brief that summarizes the proposed website structure and aesthetic. Users can then refine the details with the chatbot, start over, or go with the AI’s initial draft. Once created, the sites are still fully customizable, including for manual edits.
With the latest update to the AI website builder, Wix users will be able to interact with the chat experience in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Turkish.
“The feedback on the AI Website Builder has been incredible,” Wix CEO Avishai Abrahami said. “Since its launch only a few months ago, hundreds of thousands of sites have already been created using this tool. Now, users can create their digital visions in their preferred language.”
The AI website builder is available on all plans, including Wix’s free plan, but some of Wix’s other AI-powered tools – like the recently-released mobile app builder – must be purchased as add-ons.
Wix ADI, or artificial design intelligence, was a prominent feature for years, but in March, the company launched a rebranded offering incorporating AI more thoroughly. It comes as competitors rush to add AI tools. Web hosting provider Hostinger has attributed a significant increase in yearly earnings to its rollout of AI design tools.
