Upwork Launches AI Services Hub and AI Tools

Upwork introduced AI Services Hub, a platform that connects employers to the most skilled independent AI professionals from all over the world along with state-of-the-art AI tools.

Upwork has seen a dramatic rise in the adoption of generative AI tools among its network of independent talent. Compared to last year, weekly job posts related to generative AI went up by 450%. In fact, AI was the fastest-growing category on Upwork in the first half of 2023. To accommodate the increased demand for generative AI tools and talent, Upwork developed AI Services Hub as a one-stop shop for all things AI.

AI Services Hub has over 250 unique AI skills, enabling businesses to find trusted AI talent for any project and budget. The company followed the platform’s launch with a series of new AI-powered features that make the discovery and matching process easier for clients. These features are available across all categories.

AI Services Hub also includes beta features from OpenAI that will enable users to get things done more efficiently. Employers can speed up the job post creation with the AI-powered Job Post Generator. Freelancers can now use the Proposal Tips feature to create more professional proposals in seconds. There’s also an enhanced Upwork Chat to assist new businesses in searching for talent and navigating the platform.

To remove the learning curve associated with the new AI Services Hub and generative AI adoption, Upwork introduced Additional Resources, a place where users can access generative AI guides, research, and its AI and Machine Learning Upwork Community Group.

Upwork has also partnered with Jasper, a generative AI company, to help independent talent boost productivity and work quality. The company offers an exclusive 30-day free trial of Jasper’s copywriting, image creation, and marketing services to all Upwork freelancers.

Upwork’s AI Services Hub is another platform that supports the company’s expansion to new markets. Although known as one of the largest freelance sites, Upwork has recently dived into full-time hiring, offering employers and talent a hassle-free solution to deepen their relationships without worrying about complex international full-time hiring laws.
