Leading e-commerce platform Shopify recently introduced its new application, Schemify: Autopilot SEO Boost. The tool is designed to help online store owners increase their site visibility “effortlessly” with automatic schema generation and rich snippets.

Schemify features an automatic JSON-LD schema installation, allowing users to enhance their site SEO “quickly and easily.” The app gives users access to enhanced rich snippets that help them boost search ranks, make their store stand out in search results, drive more organic traffic, and ultimately increase sales.

Along with the app, Shopify merchants will also have access to a support team dedicated to removing Google Search Console warnings. Schemify can also integrate with most review apps to display additional information for rich snippets.

Schemify is a premium app with a 7-day free trial for Shopify merchants. Shopify stores that are currently in development can install the app for free. In this case, charges will apply to merchants once the store moves to a paid plan. Schemify costs USD $9.99 per month, but Shopify merchants can save 17% by signing up for the yearly plan at USD $99.90.

While Shopify has a range of built-in features for SEO, including editing control over title tags, meta descriptions, URLs, and alt text, some SEO aspects are automatically generated. These include canonical tags, title tags with store name, and social media links and sharing buttons built into the themes. Schemify provides advanced SEO features and more possibilities for store owners to improve their visibility.

Earlier this year, popular website builder Wix launched its redesigned SEO Dashboard. This free all-in-one SEO tool features more SEO settings, personalized educational materials based on the user’s level of SEO knowledge, and Google Search Console integration.

Despite Microsoft’s intention to disrupt how search engines work with its conversational ChatGPT-powered Bing, SEO still remains an important tool for site visibility.
