Kamatera Opens New Data Centers in Asia
Kamatera has announced the opening of three new cloud data centers in Sydney, Tokyo, and Singapore to expand its service in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Singapore location will improve connectivity and cloud performance in Southeast Asia. It will be a key hub to promote business expansion in line with government policies within a secure ecosystem.
The location in Tokyo, Japan, will drive the large economy by providing high-speed, secure, and reliable internet to East Asian markets.
In Sydney, Australia, the new data center will provide high-speed, low-latency internet to Australia and New Zealand. This location will also focus on investing in renewable energies, particularly leveraging the advances in solar and wind power produced in Australia.
Tal Holzer, CEO of Kamatera, said of the expansion, “As we open new doors for businesses across the Asia-Pacific region, we know they’ll be enjoying our high-end cloud infrastructure.” He went on to say, “We’re excited to be a catalyst for economic growth in these new and dynamic markets.”
These three additional data centers mean that Kamatera now operates 24 data center locations worldwide, housing thousands of servers. This includes the three additional data centers Kamatera opened in the US in June to continue its expansion in the American market.
Kamatera’s continued growth provides customers of all sizes, from start-ups to enterprise companies, with worldwide operations and scalable data services that meet local requirements for residency and security. Kamatera aims to reach “60% of the world’s population with near-zero latency.”
With the various sites located globally, Kamatera can also offer business continuity to all its customers with robust disaster recovery operations. Kamatera has a strong focus on security and reliability with surveillance systems on each of their sites, restricted access to premises, robust backup systems, and power generators to ensure operations during power outages.
