IONOS Is Now a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider

Leading web hosting provider IONOS is officially a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider and can now distribute Red Hat Enterprise Linux, a popular enterprise Linux platform, to customers worldwide through its cloud platform.

The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program allows IONOS to offer a larger variety of solutions to meet customer needs for cloud-based Red Hat technologies. To become a certified partner, IONOS has undergone a comprehensive testing process, demonstrating it can provide a scalable, secure, and consistent environment for enterprise-grade cloud deployments.

The decision to become a Red Hat Enterprise Linux provider was borne from consumer demand. “In recent years, our customers – especially from the public sector – have been increasingly demanding Red Hat Enterprise Linux,” Patrick Schaudel, SVP products of IONOS, said in the company’s press release.

“We are pleased that we are now part of the program and can offer customers a more secure, stable, and trusted platform upon which to build their next-generation IT projects using Red Hat solutions.”

The partnership ensures that there is a reliable foundation to deploy custom-developed or third-party ISV applications in a public cloud or through a managed service provider. IONOS will also offer Level 1 and Level 2 support to Red Hat Enterprise Linux users.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is one of the world’s leading enterprise Linux platforms. Renowned for its robustness and security, Red Hat Enterprise Linux offers a stable foundation for business-critical applications. Its key features include support for a range of hardware architectures, a managed service for analytics and remediation, strong installation support and migration tools, and consistent performance.

IONOS is continually expanding its platform, offering customers a suite of services in one place. The company started its journey in 1988 as a web hosting provider. Since then, it has evolved into a fully rounded digital partner for web hosting and cloud solutions, and offers services for building websites, registering domains, deploying servers, and more.

To maintain its competitive edge, IONOS recently integrated AI features into its MyWebsite Now website builder, enabling users to create website content in a matter of seconds. Its email marketing services also received an AI revamp.
