Fiverr Launches New Campaign for UK Entrepreneurs

Fiverr partnered with Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett to build opportunities for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The pair announced the new “Break The Breakthrough” campaign is open to business owners in the UK.

The program will grant three businesses access to £10,000 in Fiverr Credits, dedicated guidance from a Fiverr Customer Success Manager, and a 45-minute dedicated session with Steven Bartlett.

Steven Bartlett is a successful entrepreneur who is also a best-selling author and popular podcaster. He is currently the youngest “dragon” to appear on BBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Bartlett will work with the three winners to understand their goals and objectives, define a tailored plan, and work with Fiverr to identify freelance talent that will help the SMBs achieve their goals.

“One of the most common mistakes I see business owners make is trying to take on everything themselves,” Bartlett said. He says discovering Fiverr was “transformative” for him and that by hiring experienced freelancers through Fiverr, he was able to “accomplish more, and focus on growing [his] business.”

Businesses had until April 10 to apply and a panel of judges has been set up to analyze the applications to determine the winners based on “the type of business and its uniqueness,” “the impact and purpose of its video” submission, its availability to participate in the “Break The Breakthroughs” film, and the company’s ability to help the entrepreneurs.

The panel of judges is a mix of judges appointed by Fiverr and independent judges. They will make their decision in time for the production shoot of the film slated for April 23. Entrepreneurs could participate if they are based in the UK, are over 18 years of age, and are Fiverr customers.
