LogoBee Review 2024 – Why Users Love It

Emily Wang Written by: Emily Wang

LogoBee is an in-house design website that takes itself very seriously and provides an excellent service. You might find other in-house designs for less, but chances are the LogoBee products will have no problem outclassing them.

Overview

Old Fashioned Company That Offers Value For Money

LogoBee is one of the longest running logo design sites out there, and that comes across in the designs they produce. That’s not to say the designs are poor, they are professional looking designs with an old-fashioned style. Each design on the LogoBee template library has an affordable price tag pinned to it. You can purchase template files in advance, and adjust them to your liking, without actually requiring a professional designer.

If you’re interested in a more custom design, LogoBee has several pricing plans to cater for your needs, with unlimited revisions being the greatest advantage across all plans.

The ordering process, usability, and customer service are all above average.

Features

Get Ready To Do Your Briefing By Email

LogoBee’s somewhat sparse brief includes just a few open questions, leaving most of your decisions to the revisions stage later on. This possibly reflects LogoBee’s traditional approach as a company more comfortable with direct contact than online forms, which is a characteristic that’s as confidence-inspiring as it is ever-so-slightly outdated.

For Businesses That Need Printed Material

LogoBee doesn’t have that many features to speak of, though considering how straightforward their service is I’m not sure they need that many. Their testimonial page is just as good as the gallery – almost every review comes with a link to the customer’s website, so you not only know they’re real but can also see LogoBee’s work in action.

As for additional services, the Golden package includes stationary and business card designs as well as 500 printed business cards. Not a bad perk, even if its uses for a web-based company might be a bit limited. The website also offers several other services – like the option to ship a CD of your final logo files anywhere in North America – for an additional fee.

Ease of use

Intuitive Order Processing Makes Up For the (Literal) Fine Print

LogoBee is fairly easy to navigate, with links to every section of the website clearly laid out as soon as you enter. Unfortunatelyת the usability is complicated by the use of small printת combined with a great deal of text, which makes the browsing experience a little tedious and parts of the content easy to miss.

What shouldn’t be missed is the portfolio, which won me over with its great presentation and especially the short blurbs describing each logo’s design process. If you have the patience to wade through all that text, the LogoBee website definitely feels like it belongs to a serious studio that knows what it’s doing.

Ordering your logo is also very simple – after choosing the package you want you’ll be directed to a one-page form to fill in your personal information as well as a creative brief. The next stage is choosing your payment method – credit card, Paypal, phone, check or money order. After that your interactions with LogoBee will move off-site as you communicate with the project managers via email until you get your logo.

Support

Responsive and Helpful

Like the rest of the website, LogoBee’s support system is a little old school: you can contact them via phone, email or an online chat system which operates only during business hours.

Their response, however, is prompt, efficient and helpful. They also make up for the limited support by offering extensive information on their FAQ and Policy pages, which is where the website’s overuse of text comes in handy. Take the time to read these pages and you’ll probably find the answers to all of your questions.

Pricing

Higher Prices For Great Packages

LogoBee considers itself a professional design service that stands apart from the usual array of online logo design websites. Consequently, it maintains higher pricing compared to the majority of other fixed-price websites. However, it’s important to note that LogoBee’s prices remain significantly lower than those of a typical design studio.

While the Special offer does not include satisfaction guarantees, the Silver package offers a tempting upgrade.

Beware though, as there are many additional charges for little bits and pieces.

  • $99 if you want your logo ready within 2 business days
  • $40 if you request any extra files
  • $149 if you want to retrace from bitmap to vector format
  • And so on

LogoBee REVIEW: BOTTOM LINE

PRO’S

  • Professional service
  • Good designs
  • Reliability

CON’S

  • Higher prices
  • Cluttered website

LogoBee offers a reliable and efficient fixed-price service, for the price of a contest site, which is reflected in the quality of their designs. Their business practices are still rooted deeply in the offline world, which makes them a great choice for anyone who prefers a hands-on direct-contact approach.

Good response time and support

At the beginning, I was given a choice of multiple logo samples to choose from. We worked with the designers to fine tune the designs to my liking. I was listened to and had prompt a response from the company. It did take some time to achieve the desired effect, but it the end I got exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this service for someone who can take few days to get the work done.
