Ordinary app, not worthy subscription.
The app itself is quite limited to basic functions for each social media platform. For all extra functions you can install plugins (extra payment needed). As for just one or two platforms to integrate its not sufficiently functional nor more efficient than web pages (e.g FB or Insta page). The biggest minus is for the unfair payment option: they say plan costs 49$/mo but then they charge 99$ per month in monthly subscription. Nowhere it is clearly written that it will be 99 instead of 49 (lost because of it already 100$).
A great tool for posting, scheduling and integrations for better social media RoI
Hootsuite boosts RoI of social media posting with fewer efforts and absolutely zero attention divided by automating the entire social media posting lifecycle-from planning to the point when target gets realized. a With collection of smart automation tools, intuitive interface and smooth processes it makes things easier for non-techies and beginners too. The prices are affordable and a with free plan you are never far from trying it yourself risk-free. Highly recommendable.
No longer can you post 30 scheduled posts in a month it's just five. The premium pricing also has raised considerably since I started. It is not worth the money.
When I could post 30 posts a month I was using it all the time. I now find myself scheduling posts directly on the individual media sites pages.
Overpriced and if you are an original customer who is grandfathered in they delay any updates to your account such as a UI updates. They like to forget about loyalty to customers. They have no call center and are an absolute nightmare to get ahold of. Would much rather find an alternative.
My subscription became 5x the price overnight without warning
Until today I enjoyed this service for more than six years. I had a subscription and didn't notice immediately when the automatic payments they were taking became 5x as much. By then they had $1000 I hadn't authorized and they refused to refund it. Obviously I'm done with Hootsuite and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Customer Since 2013 Raised My Rate from $9.99/month to $75/month without notice
I think I must write a review on the support DeleteZero has provided way long. I'm ising their servers for the last 2 years. I am just using the basic Budget 1 plan. The performance of the plan is more than expected. Will definitely recommend DeleteZero to my Clients
They gave me my money back despite me signing to pay.
I signed up for a 30-day trial but forgot to cancel the order on time. They charged me 566 euros for it. From a legal point of view, they had all the right to do so as it was my own mistake. However, after contacting them they gave me my money back.
Thanks, Hootsuite,
Milad
As the COO of a startup, I once had to raise my prices on long-term customers. I gave them multiple notices, explained in detail why we were making the changes and gave them a discount to ease into the new pricing. NOT HOOTSUITE! No. They just sent one short email. Then increased the prices by over 400%. When the time came for the annual renewal, did they send another courtesy notice? NO! Just a receipt for the new massive charge!!! I haven't used the service in 9 months, but never mind. I realize it's my responsibility to cancel a service I'm not using. But I was holding on in anticipation of using it later. But when they quadruple the price, I can't justify it!
This is just an offensive and incredibly poor way to make money.
Good luck reaching Customer "Support". No number, no chat, no email. Just a form...
