Over half consumers are more likely to shop with a brand that has a recognizable logo, according to recent studies.
Yet, most logo generators rely on tired templates, and leave millions of global entrepreneurs stuck with generic, English-only branding.
In this interview with Website Planet, Muhammad Anzal, Marketing Manager at Zoviz, breaks down why the “template trap” is a branding dead end, and how Zoviz is rethinking the approach to instant, professional design.
You will learn the core principles that made Zoviz the weapon of choice for over 400,000 businesses creating brand kits in under 5 minutes (no design skills or agencies needed).
Why does Zoviz exist? What is the pressing problem you’re solving?
Most AI logo makers rely on recycled templates that lead to generic, forgettable branding, especially for non-English speaking users*. We built Zoviz to empower every business, in any language, with a unique, high-quality logo and a complete brand kit in minutes—no design skills or costly agencies needed.
* EDITOR’S NOTE
A 2024 study found that most AI models—like those that make logos—underperform in non-English contexts. Researchers looked at hundreds of language datasets and discovered that:
Many had less than 50% good content (meaning the rest was wrong, messy, or in the wrong language).
15 languages had zero usable content.
Over 80 datasets had incorrect language labels, meaning AI thinks it’s learning one language, but it’s actually another—or complete gibberish.
What This Means
AI tools trained on this bad data (especially for small or non-English languages) often repeat the same generic patterns or make designs that don’t feel right culturally or linguistically. That’s why users outside English-speaking markets often get bland, forgettable logos.

What makes this problem so severe that you set out to solve it?
Design tools have made branding more accessible, but they’ve also lowered the bar for originality. Indeed, most platforms just shuffle templates with minor tweaks, which creates a sea of lookalike brands.
Even worse, many don’t support global languages, which alienates a massive portion of the market. We saw a gap where businesses—especially startups in underserved regions—were settling for logos that didn’t reflect their identity, culture, or ambition.
That felt wrong, so we built Zoviz to fix this with a multilingual, AI-driven design engine that creates logos as unique as the people behind them.
Who is most affected by this issue—and why are they still stuck with it?
Small businesses, solopreneurs, and non-English speaking entrepreneurs are hit hardest. They either get priced out of custom design or end up with low-quality, irrelevant logos. In the long run, a weak brand identity hurts trust, credibility, and growth, especially in digital-first markets where first impressions are made in seconds.
Many are still stuck because existing solutions assume English-first, template-based design is “good enough.”
It’s not!
What are others doing to solve this problem, and why doesn’t it work?
Most logo makers shuffle pre-made templates, changing colors and fonts, but never the essence.
Others use AI for random logo generation but skip quality control, which leaves users with inconsistent results.
Agencies offer quality, but at a high cost and often with long timelines.
Instead, we believe the future is in scalable, AI-powered design backed by human taste. A hybrid approach that ensures speed, originality, and quality without compromise.
What’s different about your approach?
Zoviz is the only logo maker that supports all languages, so your logo reflects your identity, not just a default English layout: every icon is AI-generated from scratch and designer-reviewed for uniqueness and visual balance, not pulled from a template library.
But the number one thing others won’t do is combine multilingual support with unique icon generation and human review, because it’s more complex to build and scale.
We chose the harder path to give users what they actually need: logos worth remembering.
What’s one major milestone that proves your solution works?
In just a few months post-launch, Zoviz has helped over 400,000 businesses create logos worldwide and in 50+ languages, many of which aren’t supported by any other logo maker.
Our average time to generate a complete brand kit is under 5 minutes, and over 70% of users customize and download their logo. That proves both usability and satisfaction.
