Please present UX Academy to our audience
UX Academy is a community of experienced creators and innovators working to deliver the best online UX Design programs. We help develop and improve the skills in the community working in UI, UX & Voice Design, with in-person and practical training, enhancing them to tackle greater challenges.
Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
I originally started running monthly meetups around Mobile UX Design, where I saw a gap in the knowledge around designing for mobile. It then became a large annual conference with around 250 attendees consisting of workshops and talks. From this UX Academy was founded to share this knowledge and to increase awareness and understanding of UX Design. We wanted to make UX more accessible by providing affordable courses with live teaching and giving students the opportunity to work on real UX design projects during the course.
What services do you offer?
We offer remote UX Design courses for both beginners and intermediate students, as well as courses for Voice Design, Product Design, and UX Strategy. We also offer in-house training in person.
What is the mission of UX Academy?
Our mission is to continue providing more accessible and affordable UX courses to our students, as well as live teaching and mentorship sessions led by UX industry experts. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our quality and content and be more useful for our students by providing interesting and challenging client projects they can work on during the course.
Who are your typical customers, and what do you think is the main challenge that your product solves for them?
Our typical customers are people interested in improving their UX design skills, career changers, or complete beginners. Our courses provide the flexibility to learn remotely from the comfort of your home. Providing our UX Design courses, we solve the challenge of students finding client projects to add to their portfolios, as this is something we offer during the course.
How do you envision the future of your industry?
We envision the future of UX as having new and different interfaces evolve with human-like interactions with personalized digital experiences. As we have seen significant innovations during the last decade such as AI and more, we are sure that the industry will only be getting more and more exciting with new technology constantly emerging. We also think that UX designers need to be prepared to meet the demand and develop further skills and business awareness.
