What’s Your Story? What Sparked The Idea, And How Has It Evolved So Far?
The DivNotes company journey began from the minds of a few University of Toronto students that planted the software startup seed to establish DivNotes as a collaborative note-taking software that was sold and targeted to colleges & universities. Ultimately, we learned that good ideas worth pursuing are rare and that unbeknownst to the founders, the first software project that the DivNotes’ team completed was their own but not their last. From there, with those skillsets established, DivNotes began to branch out into consulting to develop and deliver other custom software solutions to fellow entrepreneurs throughout Ontario and eventually across North America.
Who Are Your Customers’ Pain Points That You Help Solve?
Non-exclusively, the particular pain points that we solve, revolve around the software technology struggles that plague most software projects. We are often injected into slow-moving engineering teams to move existing projects to completion. We also establish brand new software for those entrepreneur visionaries that don’t know how to take their idea to market. Software development can be a costly investment endeavour to participate in, we pride ourselves in being a value-based firm that looks at the problem from the position of maximizing the venture capitalists’ investment and stretching the dollar while minimizing long-term technical debt.

What Trends Are Going To Shape The Future Of Your Industry?
There are almost too many changing trends to count. However, at the time of this article there has been a steady growth in demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning and the Web3 sector. This is something we are working towards to incorporate within the projects we are working on.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have over the years become more easily accessible to Developers thanks to services provided by Cloud Providers. As a result of these we are seeing an increasing trend in regular web applications utilizing AI/ML in their database processes. For example, your keyboard application analyzes your messages in order to provide better word choice predictions to the User.
With regards to Web3 Technology, it’s not only used for Cryptocurrency but can be leveraged in cybersecurity as well.
