To start, tell us briefly about you. What is your current role at your company, and what are the measurable achievements you are most proud of?

My name is Bhakti Sahu, and I am currently a Social Media Representative of TemplateTrip. With 5 years of experience managing social media accounts. where I have developed a comprehensive skill set that includes strategic planning, content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis.

In my current role , I have successfully led social media initiatives that have significantly increased our online presence and engagement. For instance, I developed and executed a multi-channel social media campaign that resulted in a 35% increase in followers and a 50% boost in engagement within six months. I also implemented a data-driven approach to content creation, utilizing analytics to refine our strategy and ensure our messaging resonates with our target audience.

First of all we should make our Vision Clear and Strategy. It is crucial for guiding all aspects of your website and online business. This involves understanding your target audience, setting specific goals, and defining how you plan to achieve them.

Start by identifying your business objectives, whether it’s increasing sales, generating leads, or building brand awareness. Develop a strategic plan that outlines your approach, including marketing tactics, content strategy, and performance metrics. And give premium design to our customers at a very affordable price.

A user-friendly design ensures that visitors can navigate your website easily and find what they’re looking for without frustration. A positive user experience (UX) is key to retaining visitors and encouraging conversions. Focus on intuitive navigation, a clean and attractive layout, and responsive design for mobile and desktop users. Conduct user testing to gather feedback and make improvements.

High-Quality Content is the cornerstone of a successful website. It should be valuable, engaging, and relevant to your audience. High-quality content helps build trust, establish authority, and drive traffic. But good content is useful only if people see it…

Build high-quality backlinks and ensure your site’s technical aspects, such as mobile-friendliness and site speed, etc.

A strong brand identity is what sets you apart from competitors and helps create a memorable impression with your audience. Consistent branding builds trust and loyalty. Develop a clear and compelling brand message, logo, and visual identity. Ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including your website, social media, and marketing materials. Create a brand story that resonates with your audience and reflects your company’s values.

Providing exceptional customer service builds trust and encourages repeat business. It’s crucial for addressing customer concerns and enhancing their overall experience. Offer multiple channels for customer support, such as live chat, email, and phone. Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently. Create a comprehensive FAQ section to address common questions and provide helpful information.

If there was one part of the website development process you would have spent 50% more time on, what would it be and why? What made you realize the importance of this step?ws

I’ll tell you about how we realized the importance of understanding and addressing customer needs from the very beginning.

When TemplateTrip started in 2013, the focus was primarily on creating high-quality website templates and themes. The initial excitement of launching new products and expanding into various platforms like PrestaShop, Shopify, and WordPress drove the early successes. However, as the company grew and diversified, it became evident that simply providing excellent products wasn’t enough.

In the early years, TemplateTrip’s team was so focused on developing new themes and entering new markets that they didn’t fully grasp the nuances of their customers’ needs. For instance, the company launched several themes that looked great and were technically sound but did not always align with what users were specifically looking for or what was trending in the market.

The turning point came in 2015 when TemplateTrip expanded into PrestaShop. Despite having well-designed themes, user feedback revealed that many of the themes didn’t fully cater to the specific needs and preferences of different business sectors. This feedback was a wake-up call.

Realizing that success depended not just on the aesthetic or technical aspects of the themes but on how well they served the users’ specific needs, TemplateTrip shifted its approach. The team began to prioritize understanding customer feedback, analyzing market trends, and engaging directly with users to tailor their products more effectively. Invest in a user-friendly design. Ensure your site is easy to navigate, loads quickly, and is optimized for mobile devices. Regularly test your site’s usability and make improvements based on user feedback.

Neglecting SEO
Implement a robust SEO strategy. Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, create high-quality content, and build backlinks. Stay updated with SEO best practices and algorithm changes.

Poor Content Quality
Focus on creating high-quality, original content that provides value to your audience. Regularly update your content to keep it relevant and informative. Use multimedia elements like images and videos to enhance engagement.

Use tools like Google Analytics to monitor traffic, user behavior, and conversions. Analyze this data to identify areas for improvement and adjust your strategies accordingly.

Is there any advice you’ve received in your career that you now wish you never followed? What happened?

In my career, there was a piece of advice I once received that suggested focusing solely on one niche without exploring other opportunities. At the time, I thought this was the best way to build expertise and become a leader in a specific area. However, I now see that this approach was limiting. By sticking rigidly to that advice, I missed out on the chance to explore a broader range of interests and skills.

Over time, I realized that being open to different areas and diversifying my knowledge and experience could lead to more growth and innovation. Embracing a wider range of opportunities allowed me to connect with a more diverse audience and discover new ways to contribute to my field.

While that advice had its merits, my journey taught me the value of flexibility and exploration. I now believe in staying curious and open-minded, which has led to more exciting and fulfilling career experiences.
