Please present iSynergy to our audience.
iSynergy is an integrated digital marketing agency with a laser focus on maximizing ROI for clients. We achieve high revenue-driving success across lead generation, e-commerce, and full-funnel campaigns.
iSynergy is an industry leader in branding & positioning, programmatic advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), social advertising, search engine marketing (PPC), inbound marketing, and growth strategy development. We focus on building scalable, efficient campaigns that deliver results.
Please describe the story behind the company: What sparked the idea, and how has it evolved so far?
I actually never had the idea to start a digital marketing company. I started iSynergy as a tech company and took clients on as they came. They would ask me if I had a particular service, and I just always said, “Yes.” The more services people asked for the more I figured out how to do — until we found our bread and butter with digital marketing.
What services do you offer?
We pride ourselves on being marketing partners with our clients in order to provide services across the digital marketing landscape, including website design and development, branding, competitor research, email marketing, social media management, search engine optimization, video production, copywriting, graphic design, paid advertising, and strategy.
What is the mission of iSynergy?
Our mission and promise to clients is to maintain a “Permanent Beta” mindset. If you haven’t read Reid Hoffman’s book, “The Start-Up of You,” do it. I think he knows what he’s talking about (he’s only the founder of LinkedIn, you know). There are several great nuggets of wisdom, but my favorite is the idea of “Permanent Beta.” Beta is the final stage of software development, where it is continually tested to make room for improvement. This idea fully describes how we work with our clients. At iSynergy, we are always in a state of testing and improvement to evolve in an ever-advancing digital world.
As industry leaders in the Midwest, we describe ourselves as “West Coast innovation meets Rust Belt work ethic.” We are truly invested in our clients’ successes because we build personal relationships with them. No client gets “sold” on something they don’t need or want just so we can make more money or a sales rep can earn a commission — in fact, we don’t even have any sales reps. All services are decided by meeting with the client and further determined by their dedicated Account Strategist. We’re not selling ice to an Eskimo; we’re finding ways for companies to boost their business.
What separates you from other similar companies?
We are much more transparent than other agencies. We give our clients live data boards and monthly insights so they know exactly how our services are performing. We don’t hide anything. If something isn’t working, they see it. There’s no point in keeping it from them. Instead, we audit and adjust until we get a winner. And our clients are along for the ride.
A little-known secret is that many digital marketing agencies actually outsource a lot of their production. Instead, we have an in-house, local creative team so that we have complete control over the creative process and deadlines. There’s nothing worse than working with a third party where we have to rely on their timeline and lose control over the final product.
How do you envision the future of your industry?
I think it’s no surprise that artificial intelligence is taking over most industries, especially those that thrive in digital spaces. I think it’s going to continue to advance its capabilities through the next few years to enhance every aspect of marketing.
As far as iSynergy is concerned, I don’t believe in a 3 or 5-year plan — I think they stunt growth. To be at the forefront of technology and industry trends, you need to be flexible and able to adapt in an instant.
