This week, we had an opportunity to speak with Anton Vasilev, a Deputy General Director at
Sprinthost.
Please introduce our audience to Sprinthost: what was the impetus for this idea and how has it developed so far?
A Sprinthost is a place where customer sites live. The idea of the project is to create reliable and convenient hosting at an affordable price, which you want to use and recommend to your friends and colleagues.
What services do you offer?
Sprinthost offers a range of services: virtual hosting for sites of any scale, VDS, for those who want to independently administer, domain name registration, and dedicated servers.
What makes you different from other similar web hosting companies?
What makes us different from other companies in the unparalleled technical support that works 24/7 and is always ready to help the client with any of his questions, both in a chat, by letter, and by phone.
Who are your typical customers and what do you think is the main problem that your product solves for them?
Hosting should be reliable and easy to use, and if you need help — technical support should be lightning fast to help solve any issues.
We provide reliability thanks to our data center — Tier III-a a high-tech data center in St. Petersburg. The convenience is realized due to the Hosting Control Panel, which we developed independently and are constantly improving.
What trends and technologies are you particularly interested in these days?
We consider the development of messengers and bots to be promising areas.
In the messenger, it is convenient to provide support as a replacement for chats on the site, mail or phone calls, and bots for the convenience of the user as an alternative to a bunch of applications on the smartphone.
It is also worth noting VDS (our project Sprinbox) – the successor of virtual hosting in the not very distant future.
What are Sprinthost’s plans for the near future?
In the near future, we plan to improve our Control Panel and continue to add new features and capabilities. And also develop technical support tools and implement them in messengers.
If we talk about new directions, it is worth noting the young project Sprintbox – virtual dedicated servers for data hosting. This direction in the future!
