How did the idea for Kickresume come about and how was the company founded?
The idea of Kickresume started back in high school when Tomas and I were already diving into our first entrepreneurial ventures. Fast forward to university, when we needed to find internships, we ran into a familiar problem: building the perfect resume and navigating the job search. At that time, there were only a few tools out there, and they weren’t very user-friendly or effective. That’s when Kickresume was born — it originally started as a simple tool to help us and our classmates create professional resumes. But what began as a small project swiftly gained traction. In a few months, Kickresume was used by a couple of thousand people. The website was taken by storm and servers suddenly couldn’t bear it. That’s when we decided to take it to the next level. Today, Kickresume is a full-fledged career app, it’s not just about creating resumes anymore. It’s about empowering job seekers at every step of their career journey — from creating a resume and cover letter, through job interview preparation, to planning their careers.What role does AI play in the services you offer?
Actually, a huge one. With the rise of AI over the past years, we saw a big opportunity to integrate it into our platform to make job searching faster and easier. Many of our tools leverage AI technology, either developed in-house or in collaboration with OpenAI, to provide personalized insights and improvements.
